🚩 Transfer to the Plaka Hotel, Athens, store our luggage in holding area as check-in is only at 2:30, leaving us with free time to explore the city.

🚩 Visit the Acropolis, and Mars Hill. The cost for the Acropolis is approximately R600 and must be pre-booked. No cost for Mars Hill.

🚩 Have lunch in the Plaka area – preferably on the go.

🚩 Return to the hotel, be allocated to our rooms. freshen up.

🚩 I will be doing this – you are welcome to join me. Take the evening hop on hop off bus. Amazing photo’s from the bus.

🚩 Walk up to Syntagma Square. See the tomb of the unknown soldier.

🚩 Board a train up to Lycabettus Hill. Costs are approx. €2 each way.

🚩 Lycabettus Hill – Take a trolley cart to the top in 3 min for beautiful views and a restaurant. You are also welcome to walk up or down. A one-way ticket is €9, and a roundtrip ticket is €12.

🚩 Train back to the Monastiraki – Flea Market – Plaka area. Shop for souvenirs.
🍴 Have Dinner. I usually get a meal on the go.

🚩We return to hotel, for a shower and a good nights rest. Or for the energetic ones, you can stay out and enjoy Athens lively night life.

🚩 1 day, 3 islands cruise – Visit Poros, Hydra and Aegina. Pick up and drop off point at Elektra Hotel at 7:15am, so have an early breakfast if you choose to do this.
Delicious lunch on board as well as light entertainment – Greek dancing. ⭐ ⭐ Highly recommended – a bit pricey at R2600 but well worth it. I will book for you – and take you to the drop off point, if the entire group does not join in.

⭐ ⭐ In my opinion, a bit of a waste of time, sometimes the traffic is so dense in Athens, it is quicker to walk and enjoy the bustle of Athens.

🚩Lake Vouliagmeni: A scenic, swimming spot with warm, mineral-rich, turquoise waters. It is a former cave with a temperature of about 22°C
Has Natural mineral springs, scenic rocky landscape, and amenities like changing rooms and showers. Taxi from Athens for 4 people – €28. Entrance about €20.

🚩 Return to Athens, complete your last purchases, stroll in the Monastiraki.

🚩 After Breakfast, with packed bags we transfer to Piraeus harbour for check-in. The cruise ship sails at 13H00. Meet on Deck for the Sailaway Party. We meet for the safety drill after lunch.

🍴 After checking in and being allocated to your cabin, feel free to enjoy the facilities and shows on board.

🚩 Turtle Spotting in Argostoli: Head to the main harbour in the capital of Argostoli in the morning. You are practically guaranteed to see wild Caretta caretta (loggerhead) sea turtles swimming alongside the local fishing boats as they wait for scraps.
🚩 Stroll the D’Abossio (De Bosset) Bridge: While in the capital, take a walk along this historic bridge. It is the longest stone bridge over a sea in the world and offers excellent panoramic views of the Argostoli lagoon.
🚩 Explore Assos Village: Located on a peninsula, this sleepy and colorful Venetian village is completely free to wander. For an active free outing, you can hike the trail up to the ruins of Assos Castle, which rewards you with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea.Relax at Petani Beach: If you love the dramatic cliff faces of Myrtos without the crowds, head to the Paliki peninsula to Petani. The water is pristine, and you can just lay a towel down for free.
🚩 Visit Fteri Beach: Known as a hidden gem, this beach requires a hike, making it wonderfully secluded. You’ll need to park at the trailhead near the village of Zola and walk down to the coast.
🚩 Fiskardo Harbour: Take a scenic drive up to the northern tip of the island to explore the historic port of Fiskardo. It is one of the only villages that survived the devastating 1953 earthquake, so it retains beautifully preserved Venetian architecture.

We have a leisure morning on the cruise liner today. Why not have a late breakfast, enjoy the jacuzzi or sauna.

Our excursion takes us through the Old Town and up to key city forts that served as King’s Landing.
You’ll see the Red Keep, the Jesuit Steps (Walk of Shame), and the Battle of Blackwater Bay.The tour involves:

🚩 Sailing along the Dalmatian coast on a replica of Daenerys’s ship.

🚩 About: As we draw closer to Dubrovnik, all eyes will be on the towering city walls. Walk along them and enjoy the limestone streets, baroque architecture and the turquoise waters. Then head further into the city’s myriad streets to soak up the atmosphere in seemingly endless bars, cafes and restaurants.

⭐ Suggestion : Take a 4-minute cable car ride to the summit of Mount Srđ for panoramic views of the entire region. It is the perfect spot to watch a spectacular sunset. We ascend to the top of Srdj Hill by cable car for incredible views of the city and the glittering turquoise of the Adriatic beyond. The war museum is the perfect place to explore exhibitions on the invasion of Croatia during the 1990s.

Passing Cetinje, you’ll continue your drive to Kotor via Budva – the most popular tourist destination on Montenegro’s map. Your tour will end with a coach ride back to Kotor where you will have introductory tour of this unique town. Walk back to the ship at leisure.
