The Basics
A. We source the best activities, adventures and cultural experiences for each destination! We don’t do the typical crowded tour bus trips, our experiences are handcrafted by travellers for travellers!
A. Once your payment has been confirmed it’s important to provide us with all required details before you travel, and you can do this on the trips page under ‘Register Now’.
If more than one passenger was paid please fill in the details separately but upload the same Stripe payment or deposit confirmation pdf.
You’ll also need to make sure your trip is paid off in full no less than 60 days prior to departure. Necessary documents for your trip will then be sent to you around 21 days prior to your departure date. These documents include vouchers, airline tickets, a day-to-day itinerary including information about the Free Time Add-Ons available on your trip, and a traveller’s information booklet (subject to the region you’re travelling to).
Please leave enough time to read the documentation and complete any necessary declarations etc required for travel.
A. We offer two great payment plans: 1) Book with a 20% deposit and pay the rest of your balance 12 weeks before you go (although you can make payments before this point if you wish) or 2) Pay the full amout upon booking. Please note that some of our programmes require a larger deposit; please see our Terms & Conditions for details.
A. Each tour is different, please be sure to check each individual tour page for their list of includes and excludes.

A. Visas are super important and are essential for entering certain countries. It’s up to you to be responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your trip.
Information on visa needs is usually readily available on your Government’s website.
Remember, visas can take up to 6 weeks to process and a fee is normally charged, so no leaving this one till the last minute.
A. Travellers will need to comply with specific vaccine and/or booster requirements imposed by airlines and/or authorities in the destination visited, as well as requirements for accessing restaurants and venues. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply at all times with these requirements. No refunds will be given if you are unable to undertake some or all of your vacation due to failure to comply with these requirements.
A. Yes, to discuss options please contact our team with your requirements or email them at info@traveldaze.co.uk.
A. If you’re getting a passport for the first time you’ll need to fill out a passport application form, which you can download from your government’s website, local post office or government buildings, depending on your country of residence.
There is a charge for passports and they normally take 3-6 weeks to be approved and delivered (depending on your country of residence), so make sure you check this out before making any travel plans.
A. All travellers will be required to comply with local travel requirements. You’ll need to wear a mask if and when your Trip Manager advises it’s mandatory to do so, according to local requirements. Our coaches have state-of-the-art air filtration and industry-leading cleaning protocols, but you’re welcome to wear a mask while travelling on-board if you choose to.
Please note that airlines and other establishments may not accept washable cloth masks, only medical masks.

A. Depending on where you’re travelling and your nationality, you’ll likely need a valid passport and may also need visas to enter into certain countries – please check this well in advance of your trip departure date. Some countries also require passports to have 3-6 months left on them before the given expiry date.
It is the responsibility of the traveller to ensure you have the appropriate, valid documentation for the length of their trip.
Any required documentation will be made known to you during and post booking.
A. YES! Up to 50% of our customers are solo travellers and so loads of adventures are geared up for those travelling alone.
If you’re a solo traveller you’ll be with a group which means you’ll make loads of new friends, you’re safe and you’re going to have a lot of fun.
Typically solo travellers can opt to have their own room (usually with a small surcharge) or you can be paired with someone of the same gender and age if possible.
A. Shared accommodation is part of the travel experience. How many people you’ll be sharing with depends on the region, travel style and type of accommodation, but twin same-sex sharing is the norm.
A. Yes. In most regions and on most trips there is the option to upgrade to a private room, for an additional fee, please email us to let us know your preference info@traveldaze.co.uk
A. This one depends on the destination and trip you’re travelling on. Read your Travel Daze welcome documentation carefully to understand luggage allowances for your specific trip.
Our typical luggage allowances;
For our European trips, luggage is restricted to one decent sized, suitcase, approximately 29” × 20” × 10” (73cm x 50cm x 25cm) with a maximum weight of 20 kilos (44lbs.) plus one small hand/day bag that can go on the transport with you. Metal frame backpacks are not advised as their bulky shape makes packing vehicles tricky, plus they are more likely to damage other luggage.
For Asia & other regions which have internal flights included in the itinerary, luggage weight restrictions must be within the restriction of the given airlines you’re travelling on. It’s up to you to ensure you keep within these measurements and weight restrictions, so please check this out before you travel as excess baggage fees will be at your own cost.
A. Each trip contains the right amount of free time for you to explore or indulge your travel desires. We offer Free Time Add-Ons, which are additional experiences that are not included in the overall price. These add ons are highlighted on the specific trip page. Your Trip Manager will highlight these to you and organise their booking on trip. Exceptions may apply where pre booking is required but this will be made known to you in your pre departure information.
A number of meal times are left open for you to explore a region and its foodie offerings in greater detail, so budgeting for your taste in non-catered meals is important.
Travel insurance and visas are also not included in the cost of your trip, and should be booked separately.
Travel Insurance
A. Yes! Travel Daze requires you to take out comprehensive insurance coverage for cancellation, personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evacuation expenses, personal liability & loss of personal property and Covid-related expenses before you travel with us. It’s also super important to check that your insurance covers all the activities you’ll be trying out, particularly any adventure activities (for all you adrenaline junkies).
A. Please be aware that Travel Daze requires you to obtain travel insurance before joining our trip. We do not offer insurance plans but recommend buying travel insurance from another provider. Please be sure you are covered for the complete dates of your trip and please validate that you have the appropriate level of coverage in the currency for your country of origin, in the following categories: Trip interruption; (to cover the cost of your trip, including air); Trip Delay; Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation; Medical Expenses from illness (covering individual or pandemic event etc.)
On the Trip
A. Transfers are not included in the trip (unless specified), and you must make your own way to the trip starting point. On Group Trips they are always included.
In particular destinations or select trips we offer chargeable transfers that can be added to your booking or complimentary shuttles to the train station/airport at the end of the trip.
Please read the trip itinerary carefully to understand the available options.
A. No, these experiences are an additional cost and are not included in the price of your Travel Daze trip. However, thanks to our long-standing relationships with suppliers, you can be safe in the knowledge that you are getting the best deal when booking one of our Add-Ons.
A. Free Time Add-Ons are basically the travel experiences we’ve picked that we think will take your trip to a whole new level. The experiences are built around activities or topics we know you’ll love. Think food, adventure, exploration, history, culture, fashion, music – you name it.
A. You can pay for your Add-Ons with a debit or credit card, or cash, once you are on your trip. Our Trip Managers will manage this process with you, and answer any questions you may have. We’d also advise having a good read over what Add-Ons are available on your trip prior to departure, as this will help with managing your budget.
A. Should you require to file a complaint please raise this initially with your Trip Manager whilst on trip and provide the opportunity for an immediate solution. Should this not be appropriate or post/pre trip please send us an email to info@traveldaze.co.uk
After reviewing your complaint, we will send your email to the relevant department or the region the complaint relates to, and will endeavour to make sure that your issue is dealt with as quickly as possible.
A. Group sizes are completely dependent on where and how you choose to travel, our group sizes are considerably smaller – as low as 12 or up to 30 travellers max.
A. Depends on where you’re travelling to, how long for and how much you like to splash the cash when you travel. It’s also a good idea to read up on our incredible Free Time Add-Ons and decide how many you’ll want to do. You should set a daily budget based upon these factors, as well as doing some research on: the region you are travelling to (for instance Europe will be significantly more expensive than Asia), and how much you anticipate spending on personal expenses like drinks or shopping. Before you travel, read up on and get an idea of the Free Time Add-Ons you think you’ll want to do on your trip, then set yourself a daily budget.
Consider the:
– Cost of a local lunch
– Cost of a local dinner
– Cost of a bottle of water
– Cost of an ice cream
– Cost of entry to a sightseeing spot
Bring some cash in the local currency of the destination you’ll be travelling to first, and then use your debit or credit card to withdraw money along the way (don’t forget to let your bank know you’re travelling!).
A. Yes, our trips offer free time where you can choose what to do with the time like exploring, relaxing or grabbing a bite to eat. The amount of Free Time you have is dependent on the travel style and individual trip you book.
A. Yes! Don’t stress about keeping connected to all your friends and family from afar; almost all accommodations offer free WiFi as well as the coaches.
A. Tipping is a big part of the culture and is expected when paying your dinner bill, buying drinks at a bar, and even getting a taxi. In most parts of Europe, leaving a tip of around 5 – 10% of the total bill is the standard, although make sure you check the bill first, as a tip may have already been included in the total cost of the bill. It’s generally worth reading up on the tipping culture of the region you are travelling to prior to your trip, or just ask your Trip Manager what the general etiquette is once on trip.
A. Your Trip Manager will assign each member of your group to a room, and this will be your rooming formation for the duration of the trip. If for any reason you want to switch rooms, you’ll need to put this request to your Trip Manager.
If you are booking as a couple and have booked a twin share trip then you will be roomed together. Booking as a group of friends on a multi-share trip, your Trip Manager will attempt to room you in the same room however this cannot always be guaranteed.
A. If you and your roommate are not getting on for any reason you can request a room move from the Trip Manager, but it’s not guaranteed. Ultimately, your bed is only where you sleep and so most of the time our travellers all enjoy the shared experience of travelling together.
A. We’ll be following local health authority guidelines in every destination we travel so if someone shows symptoms or would like to get tested, the Trip Manager will help facilitate medical care and/or tests. Travel Daze will follow the advice of the local health authorities to best manage the situation so every traveller’s health is a priority.
A. Lots of our accommodation offers laundry facilities and there will be a small fee for laundry services, as well as detergent (travellers tip – if you want to be super saving savvy, bring some laundry powder with you).
Alternatively, if your accommodation doesn’t have a laundry service and you’re really desperate, just ask your Trip Manager to help find a local laundrette.
A. You sure can! At the end of your trip you will have the chance to fill out a digital feedback questionnaire which will cover off all the elements of your trip, from what your Trip Manager was like, to the food, accommodation, experiences, etc. Filling in this form as honestly and accurately as possible is a huge help for us as it means we can improve on any areas you perhaps weren’t so happy with (as well as give kudos to our staff for all the things they did well).
As well as this form, you will also receive an email from Trustpilot, who are an independent third party review site, soon after your trip has finished. This email will contain a link which you can follow to leave a review of your trip.
